SUMMARY:Symposium: Psychiaters en Neurologen in Dialoog
DESCRIPTION:20 jaar geleden beëindigde de laatste zenuwarts in Nederland de opleiding. Terwijl dit in principe het sluitstuk van de splitsing van de psychiatrie en de neurologie markeerde\, is sindsdien de belangstelling voor psychiatrische symptomen bij neurologische ziektes en de neurologische basis van psychiatrische ziektes juist toegenomen: in de wetenschap\, maar zeker ook in de dagelijkse praktijk. De tijd is gekomen om naar de gemeenschappelijke basis van beide disciplines terug te keren en te exploreren hoe we de samenwerking kunnen verbeteren.

DESCRIPTION:The 2nd annual Stress-NL meeting is proud to host the first\nRon de Kloet award and lecture featuring Prof. Carmen Sandi. \nThis year’s annual meeting is also the place for fundamental and conceptual discussion about stress research. Specifically\, there will be symposia on how to measure stress in daily life (ranging from experience sampling and heart rate to cortisol)\, the use of animal models for stress research\, and the emergence of new techniques and approaches of stress assessment.
